One of our core values is continuous improvement. We apply the value to the way we work, making small adjustments over time to make work more fulfilling for ourselves and deliver more successful work for our clients. We’ve been hard at work over the course of the last few months making updates to our Design section and integrating a new Rapid Product Validation section to bring our playbook up to speed with how we work on projects.
New Rapid Product Validation Section
Inside the new Rapid Product Validation section, you’ll find some new tools and techniques on how we’ve been validating new product ideas for our clients. You’ll also see some of our best hits like our Design Sprint Guide. These guides help our Designers and Developers shape the products that we’re building at an early stage. Using these helps us understand what features are worth the investment to build.
Here are some highlights of the changes:
- Our Design Sprint guides have been moved from a GitHub repo and now appear in the playbook in their full form.
- We’ve added information on how we use Jobs-to-be-Done into our process.
- A guide on running remote workshops.
Designing Section Updates
We’ve updated our Design section to better reflect our current thinking on our design practice. The changes also support the differences between product validation and design.
Here are some highlights of the changes:
- We’ve updated our guides on Interface Design and Experience Design.
- We’ve merged or improved guides that we have on facilitating usability tests.
- We’ve added a guide for Design Implementation to explain why we value Designers that can implement.
Continuously Improving
These changes are just a snapshot in time; we’ll continue to update them as we make improvements in the way we work. Check out the new pages and let us know if it impacts the way that y'all work in any way!
