Conferences

All conferences require approval from your Managing Director (consulting teams) or manager (non-consulting teams) prior to booking in order to qualify for our conference benefits. Conferences outside one's home continent are less likely to be approved.

We pay 50% of all expenses to attend job-related conferences. If you're speaking at or involved in the organization of the conference, we'll pay 100% of the expenses to attend.

Attending a conference is working time, not paid time off, and does not reduce your vacation time.

In addition, in order to qualify for this benefit, the event must have a Code of Conduct or Anti-harassment Policy and a plan to enforce it.

We also have guidelines for the diversity of an event's speaker line-up.

The speaker line-up is often not known when you apply to speak or book your travel. If you find an event that does not have a Code of Conduct, or whose line-up falls short of our guidelines, reach out to the event organizers to encourage them to make a change.

If you believe there may be another compelling reason for the company to pay 100% of expenses, speak with your Team's MD.
