We’ve decided to pause our activity on X and Meta platforms.
While we’ve valued the connections we’ve built on these platforms over the years, we’ve seen a shift in how people engage online, with more productive conversations and community building happening on platforms prioritizing inclusion and safety. Changes to the governance and policies of X and Meta raise concerns about the long-term viability of these platforms as places for meaningful, professional engagement.

How RSS feeds work
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a way to get automatic updates from websites without having to visit them manually. By subscribing to an RSS feed, you can see new blog posts, podcasts, or news articles in an RSS reader of your choice. Some popular RSS readers include Feedly, NetNewsWire, Inoreader, and Feedbin.
To subscribe to our blog via RSS, add this URL to your RSS reader: https://feed.thoughtbot.com.
What this means going forward
We’ll continue to maintain ownership of our accounts on X and Meta, but we’ll no longer be posting updates or engaging actively. We encourage our community to join us on the platforms where we’re focusing our efforts.
We appreciate everyone who has engaged with us on these platforms over the years and look forward to continuing the conversation in new spaces.
