CSS exists at an intersection between mental models. How do we know? Because we
keep hearing the same debate rage on: "Is CSS broken or awesome?"

From the [Boston CSS Meetup](https://www.meetup.com/Boston-CSS/), [Natalya
Shelburne](https://twitter.com/natalyathree) discusses building tools for
collaboration - enabling teams to communicate by creating interfaces to
accommodate different mental models. She shares examples of effective tools
focusing on creating design systems and how they transform the way the designers
and developers interact.

Natalya discusses the mental models we construct in tech, the cognitive
dissonance we experience when confronted with new ideas, and the effect
behaviors like saying "CSS is broken" can have on career trajectories.
